I-94 Three Car Accident in Ann Arbor

There was a story in the paper today about six people injured in an I-94 three car accident in Ann Arbor on February 13th in Washtenaw County. According to the Michigan State Police, the three-car accident occurred on eastbound I-94 at the State Street accident ramp. Causes of the accident are still unknown at this time. Four of the injured people were taken to University of Michigan Medical center for treatment of their serious injuries while the two other were taken to St. Josephs. Police are still investigating the matter at this time.

Fatal Garbage Truck Accident Near Ann Arbor

There was a tragic story in the paper today about a woman killed in a fatal garbage truck accident near Ann Arbor on February 9th in Washtenaw County. According to the Michigan State Police, a 35-year-old Ypsilanti woman was driving her car on I-94, near Michigan Avenue, when she was allegedly t-boned by a garbage truck. The woman did not survive the crash. Police are still investigating this accident.

Fatal Single Car Accident Near Dexter, Michigan

I saw on the news last night a story about an I-94 Fatal Single Car Accident Near Dexter, Michigan that killed the driver and injured 3 passengers on the morning of August 8th. According to Michigan State Police, a 2007 Honda Civic allegedly lost control in the heavy downpour of rain and smashed into the center divider near Baker Road. 

State police believe hydroplaning of the car was involved. The three passengers suffered serious injuries and were taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center for treatment.  The accident is still under investigation at this time.

I am very sorry to hear about this tragic car accident and wish my most heart-felt condolences to the family of the deceased driver for their loss. I wish the injured passengers a complete and full recovery and hope that they do not suffer permanent injuries from this horrible accident.
